How many teams are in the NBA
The national basketball association or NBA for short is made up of 2 divisions (eastern and western) each division is made up of 15 teams. There are 30 teams across North America which hold some of the top notch players in basketball history.
Western conference
The western conference breaks up into 3 divisions.
Northwest: Denver Nuggets, Minnesota timber wolves OKC, Portland trailblazers, and the Utah Jazz
Pacific: Golden state warriors, LA clippers, LA Lakers,Phoenix Suns, and Sacramento Kings
South West: Dallas Maverick, Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies, New orlean Pelicans, and the San Antonio Spurs
The Eastern conference also holds 3 different divisions.
Atlantic: Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets,New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76'rs, and the Toronto Raptors.
Central: Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Milwaukee Bucks.
South East: Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, and Washington Wizards
